This is an infographic I use often in my often. I took my years of thinking about and was a pain to put together. The original idea was the old children’s game “Chutes and Ladders” with the concept being:
WHEN YOU DO THINGS IN THE INCORRECT ORDER YOU TEND TO SLIDE BACKWARDS IN YOUR HEALTH.
as well as
WHEN YOU GIVE YOURELF A BETTER FOUNDATION YOU BUILD A BETTER BODY (PYRAMID).
My lecture on this infographic can easily go an hour but I think you can get the gist of it with just a brief look over the picture.
We’re so quick in the rehab world to dive immediately into exercises for strength or flexibility. Often that is a poor order of execution. Put the fire out first, fix the imbalance. Move correctly before you start on strength etc.
